Update to Online Continuing Education Available to License/Certificate Holders

The CRC provided information about online continuing education courses early in October. More recently, the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) approved a course for 4-hours of laws and regulations. The course is $20 as a printed version, free when completed online and available only in 2020. 

Please remember the following:

  • Renewal deadlines for license/certificate holders is December 31, 2020
  • DPR notes renewal packets submitted by November 1 guarantee license/certificate by January 1
    • Submit the renewal soon
  • Licenses/certificates holders renewing every two years include the last names starting with A to L in 2020

California Adopts New Zero-emission Forklift Regulation

For several years, CRC worked in partnership with a few other agricultural groups to intensively focus on California’s Zero-emission Forklift (ZEF) Regulation. In the Summer of 2024, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) formally adopted the regulation after multiple years of work by our coalition resulting in solid regulatory relief for CRC members and all of California agriculture.
