The Department of Pesticide Regulation finalized the Intrepid® 2F registration earlier this month. The label must include ‘rice’ and ‘armyworm’ for legal usage, or you must have an approved supplemental label (from Corteva) in your possession. Usage was previously available as a Section 18 Emergency Exemption dating back to 2015. As in years past, Corteva will have product available for the use season. The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) says the next several days will be critical for growers to monitor their fields, and potentially make any necessary treatment decisions, as armyworm numbers will be at their highest very soon.
As expected, moth numbers peaked last week. Utilizing annual trend data and on-site monitoring, the UCCE says worms in the field will peak this week and next.READ MORE

outlook for the Sacramento River Basin.
The update includes current surface water supplies in all Northern California reservoirs, the
latest allocations for North-of-Delta contractors including wildlife refuges, a link to weekly
updates to the State Water Board’s current curtailments, and live monitoring of groundwater
