The Waste Discharge Requirements General Order R5-2004-0032-02 for Sacramento Valley Rice Growers was amended in February 2019,

“By 1 March 2018, and every five years thereafter, the Grower must update their Farm Evaluation and Nitrogen Management Plan, and submit it to the California Rice Commission.”

This means the site should reopen in 2023, for reporting of your 2022 crop information.

Instead, look for the site reopening in 2024.

The date was extended for one year due to the reduction in acreage from the drought. You will report your 2023 crop information in 2024.
