Rice Pesticide Program
The CRC is responsible for documenting compliance with the Rice Pesticide Program (RPP), including monitoring and preparation of the annual report. Of the five original pesticides in the RPP, only thiobencarb is currently used in significant quantities.
A certificate of completion of the thiobencarb stewardship training is required by the County Agricultural Commissioner (CAC) to issue the restricted materials permit. The thiobencarb stewardship training is generally available on the CRC website from February through June.
