The University of California Cooperative Extension Sutter-Yuba-Colusa will be holding a three-hour pest management CE webinar on December 9, to provide pest management information and research updates on rice and some of the other major annual crops in our region.
The webinar will include an hour of rice presentations from Luis Espino, Rice Farming Systems Advisor in Butte County, and Whitney Brim-DeForest, Rice and Wild Rice Advisor in Sutter and Yuba Counties. Some of their topics include rice blast, tadpole shrimp, armyworms and weedy rice.
