CRC Welcomes Adria Arko – Grants Manager

CRC Welcomes Adria Arko – Grants Manager

Bringing nine years of experience working with Northern California RCD’s, Adria Arko joins the CRC as its first Grant Manager. Most recently, she served as the Director of Development for the San Mateo RCD and prior to that, Senior Program Manager. She has secured numerous grants with both USDA and the California Department of Food and Agriculture. As many are aware, the work of resource conservation districts is funded through grants.

Adria has a BA in Environmental Studies from Pitzer College and a Master of Public Policy from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

The new position stems from the CRC strategic plan that identified an opportunity to expand grant programs aimed at supporting conservation programs.

To participate in this program, vegetation on rice levees and roads must be left from the previous growing season. Enrolled areas must be left undisturbed until July 15th.
